Finally after scouring the internet, scrutinisng every words from the forum and exchanging email with brides and brides-to-be, i have decided to engage with Farah diana Catering Services.

My Mak and I met with Kak Diana at LJS east point at 11am. Pity her, she got shit by a bird. Of coz, need to put a thick face and continue smiling away. If i were her, i will run away and hide and never do business with that person ever. (That's y i'm not an entrepreneur) She was very calm.

She showed us her list of menu's and i was amazed by the selection. She charged $8.50 per head and the food varieties is alot. We need to pay $1000 deposit and if we want the free live station, we need to pay additional $1000. She was very thorough and put in the details. There will be another 2 times installment. The next payment will be December next year and the balance will be paid after the majlis.

I'm still contemplating whether i should book her as my decorator. Her dias and decor is very simple. It's not very fanciful but it fits my budget. I want JSS deco, he is such a skillful man. His decor design is beautiful and his charges is below market price which is 2.5k.

Next appointment was with La Masion Royale Bridal Couture. I never heard of them and neither does anyone else. When i goggled for them, i saw a bad review from a Malay Forum. That was in Oct 2010. She mentioned that they were very pushy with the payment and they were not accommodating. The MA scolded the Bride and tell her off that she is being very demanding. Yet when i saw their FB, the recent feedback has been very encouraging. If i were to think positively, perhaps they were new back then and now they are improving themselves, their business and their customer service skills.

The appointment was held at their huge 3 storey terrace house. The PA was friendly and he explained most of my concern. He spoiled it when he badmouthed sheik sabri, farah diana and Cherizsta Bridal. I was appalled because he wasn't being considerate. I had the urged to tell him off that his company wasn't good at the start but because i need his service, i had to shut my mouth up. Their boutique is having promotion where 3 outfits inclusive of make-up, accessories, hairdo and free 2-day event photography at $1400. It is a good deal for a budget bride like me but they was a saying that if you chose cheap doesn't mean it's good and vice versa. When i looked at their portfolio, the design wasn't that updated. I really hope that i did not jinx this up. I prefer Lyanaz Bridal because many people swear by her impeccable service and affordable pricing.

For my wedding, i need 5 outfits so he quoted me extra pair at $300. My nikah outfit will be customised. My Future-MIL wants us to make a set because of sentimenatl value. What i'm worried now is that he verbally mentioned that he won't charge us for alteration/ plus size price because of the promotion but he did  state in his receipt. I'm afraid that he might go against his words. It's my fault also because i did not have the courage to ask from him for another condition because i requested him to note that for nikah he needs to doll me up too.

Mr H tried to calm me and advise me that there are two witnessed, they are our mothers. He won't turn his words around. How i wish i could believe him. Why is my instinct is saying that i'm making the wrong decision in engaging.
